Blue Crab Sheds Shell

Nature is truly amazing. Watch a blue crab molting in underwater footage at Captain CJ's soft crab tanks. The big male peeler run is just about over for the Upper Chesapeake Bay. Crabs continue to shed throughout the season, but there is always a large shedding period at the start, and another large female shed in August.
