The World Famous Terracotta Warriors of Xian, China

This is a brief glance at the incredible Terracotta Army that is found in Xian, China. This army of clay was constructed about 2200 years ago, to accompany the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, into the afterlife. Thousands of these life sized figures were assembled. They were only discovered fairly recently, in March, 1974, by some farmers, digging in the field.
