Boiled icing or also known as the “7-minute frosting” is very useful in special types of pastries. If you need a smooth and easy butter free frosting that colors and flavors really well, you might want to consider making boiled icing. It is a meringue based icing cooked by hot syrup which can be used to frost cupcakes or icing on a cake and you can also bake it to make meringues or marshmallow frosting on top of your Smore’s cupcakes, just like what I did here. Enjoy! Ingredients: ¾ cups sugar ¼ cup water 2 large egg whites ¼ tsp cream of tartar Pinch of salt ½ tsp vanilla extract LIKE, COMMENT, SHARE AND SUBSCRIBE! LET'S CONNECT!
