MEC Guides The route to industrialization Through a structured set of technical and market information, the MEC Guides aim to design the roadmap to industrialization of boat production. They will address the key processes which the marine industry supply chain should evaluate to improve its competitivity: - Mechanized Plug and Mold Manufacturing - Infusion, Flexible, Light RTM Moulding - Gelcoat & Metal Yacht Painting - Elastic & Structural Bonding. Issued in July 2022, the first Guide provides to professionals active in the production of boats plug & moulds a useful document to : - Be updated and evaluate the latest technologies - verify the process by step - know the most advanced materials and equipment. The four guides are studied to promote state-of-the-art knowledge in the marine industry through a clear editorial project. With the support of sponsor companies, each guide will include experiences, technology knowledge, how to use instructions, criteria for the selection of materials and equipment, highly recommended products.
