The magic circle wouldn't work for Jane, but why did it work for Evie? Freddie suspects that Evie has some strange magical powers that she's been hiding from everyone else. Evie claims she's just an average girl from the Isle. Jay believes they need help from someone with good magic. They leave for Avalor to find Mateo. Uma and CJ are at Avalor trying to save Elena. But they encounter the shadowy clouds inside Elena's castle. The shadowy clouds create a portal and Uma and CJ are about to get sucked in. Elena and Mateo save them. Elena says she encountered a portal that looked just like it before. She said she saw another her on the other side. Uma suspects the portal is a mirror and she suspects Evie is behind all of it. They retreat to Alacazar's library. They find a book which states that the only way to defeat those shadowy creatures is with a crocodile that ate the clock. Lonnie comes to Audrey's rescue. Lonnie finds out that the shadowy clouds hate the sound of a ticking clock. Lonnie saves Audrey just before she was about to get sucked into the portal. Lonnie wonders how she can use the new found knowledge against the shadows.
