A video posted to Facebook on Thursday with the caption “an appeal to the free people of the world” shows three Egyptian families who fled from Egypt to Sudan years ago in fear of government persecution now stranded at Istanbul airport after fleeing war torn Sudan. Without the necessary official papers they have been denied entry to Turkey and, as dissidents, they would be in danger if they returned to Egypt.
