Dr. Gerald Smith is a professor, teacher, and thought leader in Strategic Pricing, Brand Management, and Marketing Strategy. He is the author of Getting Pricing Right – The Behavioral Economics of Profitable Pricing (2021), The Opt-Out Effect: Marketing Strategies That Empower Consumers and Win Customer-Driven Brand Loyalty (2016), and editor of Visionary Pricing: Reflections and Advances in Honor of Dan Nimer (2012). He is Head of the Marketing Department at Boston College, and has a Doctorate in Business Administration from Boston University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Harvard Business School
