So, in today’s video, I take a trip down memory lane and do a full day of eating 2000 calories on contest prep. So, for those of you who don't know, I competed in my first bodybuilding show last year in the men's physique category, and that involved 20 weeks of prep. It was something I always wanted to do and I am so glad I did it but at the same time, it was a complete rollercoaster experience and a very intense time in my life. So, in this video, I try to encapsulate a typical day in life where I go back to my contest prep diet. So, you'll see my low-calorie high protein meals, you'll see how I structured my day to make 2000 calories (which is the lowest my calories got on prep and the lowest I have EVER dropped my calories) more manageable and you will also see the low-calorie high volume snacks that I used to keep me going. And to capture a completely different side of prep, me and my girlfriend (Rach) talk about our relationship during contest prep, how relationships and fitness can clash A LOT during this time, and how we almost broke up after this. And I\'m sharing this because it really is the harsh reality of contest prep and if you're trying to do social media and YouTube at the same time, it's can be tough (but it is of course so rewarding to document the journey). But yeah, I think it's important to talk about our scandals and issues and of course have a laugh about it as you will see.
