- a tales of remake, i' m think phantasia or symphonia in particular. - soulcalibur ii complete edition, every guest character together for the first time.
- a tekkrn collection, this seems to work out well for street fighter.
- pac-man world remastered trilogy, a bit late to the 3d platforming revival but still.
- ridge racer, could just be a compilation game like on the psp, switch is planning games like this
so for all that, i give bn props and patiently wait for the rest of the roster of games they are planning to port over or potentially build from scratch for the switch or even. The new super switch pro 2: portable. Exciting times ahead!
also all of these will likely come once these optimizations are made (almost all the sao games except lycoris came out and the one before it has fairly similar graphics to code vein, scarlet nexus, god eater 3, tales ofeven not that far from arise) personally though i' d rather they focus on much older tales games, especially the non localized ones like destiny dc, destiny 2, rebirth, phantasia nakiri dungeon x, and innocence r. Also the fact i can list all of these means they would have many different games they' d need to port which will take time. Also as far as arise i think they' d be better off waiting for an advanced version of switch (not talking about switch oled since it doesn' t look like it' ll be much more powerful than normal switch and main difference being the oledmaybe there' s something more to it) or it' s successor (cause more likely than not the next nintendo console will be a home/handheld hybrid as well with how well the switch is selling and the fact japanese gamers are generally moving towards mobility for gaming over house gaming either through mobile phones or handheld consoles like switch/3ds.
with that said. Would love all tales games and jrpgs like scarlet nexus (playing it now, great game so far) or code vein to come to it day one so i don' t buy it on sony consoles (mainly cause i hate sony' bs anti jrpg practices that they' ve established over the past few years with censorship and the like)ya many of the game i buy on ps4 have been going to switch but generally it' s half a year or longer after (prime example is ys 9 or the trailsthat said after watching yongyea' s recent videos on how sony is screwing indies i really hope the indies and jrpg developers decide to abandon sony in the near future and focus on selling on switch and pc. Maybe xbox too but they' re not really that much better than sony tbh. At least until sony gets their heads out of their asses
i really want to play a tekken granted, there' s pokkn but half of it is still arena fighting so it' s just not cutting it.
i know that tekken 7 and soul calibur 6 are pretty demanding and would not look good even if it managed to run okay on switch but remember, both franchises were on the psp and they both didn' t look that great but still played the same as the console versions
it seems strange that they dont do more cause namco made 2 pokemon games and smash bros. 3
same as atlus if nintendo pays out you' ll get the games. Smt is there because nintendo is publishing it unlike persona ect)
