Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women This Maida burfi is a very easy,quick and melt in the mouth sweet that you can make for this Diwali. INGREDIENTS: Sugar 1 cup Water as required All purpose flour 1 cup Milk 250 ml Cashew nuts 5 nos Almonds 5 nos Ghee 1-2 tbs Poppy seeds ½ tsp METHOD: 1. Boil sugar, water in a pan until it get one string consistency. 2. In a bowl mix all purpose flour, milk and mix it to make thin slurry without any lumps. 3. Pour this slurry to sugar syrup pan by stirring it continuously. 4. Once it form a lump, cashew nuts, almonds, ghee and mix it for 1 min. 5. Transfer into greased plate and ghee and press it with ladle. 6. Sprinkle toasted poppy seeds and press it, allow it rest for 15 mins in refrigerator or outside. 7. Cut into pieces with greased knife. 8. Now maida burfi is ready to serve.
